Before Christmas, I let Mason go check out the Christmas Mudroom aka the room he's never allowed in! He had tons of fun! Check it out... When he realized he was allowed to go in, he booked it! lol He had to check out the new Santa dress up toy! Then of course, he checked out the Christmas tree, and pulled off the ornaments. He broke the police snowman ornament. Ouie! Next up on the tour, the Christmas town! I had the ice skating rink running and the other buildings had the lights on. Back to dressing Santa! Beautiful baby! The end! :)

On Christmas Eve, we went to Grandma's house for dinner and presents and then we went to church. We were all dressed to impress, so I broke out the nice camera for a picture in front of our tree. This will be the last Christmas at this house! Doesn't Mason and Michael look so much alike in this photo? Christmas day started with Mason seeing everything that Santa brought him! Santa is his favorite this year! He calls him "ata" and when we ask him "What does Santa say?," he says "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!" It's the cutest thing ever! We ask him to say that all the time lol.    Santa brought Mason awesome gifts for his 2nd Christmas! A play kitchen with play food and accessories, a stocking full or knick knacks, a beginner band set and Mr. Potato Head! Christmas day with Yia Yia and Papou! :) We spent the morning opening presents at home and Grandma stopped by for a quick visit to see Mason. Then later in the day, we went...

I did a post like this last year and thought it would be fun to do it again this year! This year I decided I wanted to venture out for the Christmas photos, this proved to be difficult with Mr. Terrible Two's lol. But I think we got some cute pictures! Enjoy... All Mason wanted to do was run around Family photo take 2...where's Mason? This is the best we could do! It ended up being really muddy and Mason was not cooperating, oh well! I think this should be the Christmas card photo. ha!  He did great smiling pictures in his stroller!

I had my camera out today and took some pictures of Mason in his crib (he just woke up from his nap). :) ♥♥♥♥♥

Today I saw an amazing pin on Pinterest, 8 tutorials to get beautiful holiday photos , I was all over that! I highly recommend checking out this website if you are too scared to switch your expensive camera to any other setting than Auto. I've been meaning to figure out my camera for over a year now, but just never got inspired to, until now! I mean wow, after reading along to the tutorials above, I guess it's not that hard afterall. Just takes some practice. I'm totally doing that Bokeh Christmas Tree photo! Anyways, here are some photos I took today playing around with Aperture and Shutter settings. Some on auto focus and some on manual focus. My models were Sami the dog and Mickey Mouse and Max the stuffed animals lol Can't wait to take my new knowledge outside and take pictures of Mason in action! I'm excited to take photos for the holidays too and for the Christmas card. :) XOXO! Sara
