Michael surprised me on our first wedding anniversary with a hot air balloon ride! We were supposed to go on Sunday (our anniversary), but the wind was too high, so it got postponed until Wednesday which ended up being a beautiful day! Here is our adventure! We started off excited AND scared... The balloon is filled up and time to hop in! My head was SO hot from the fire! I didn't realize how hot it would be and loud too. Ascending... Isn't the balloon's shadow pretty? Looking up into the balloon... Deer running.... When we flew over houses, people were taking our picture. Now we know what it's like to be pursued by the paparazzi lol This is all of our feet in the basket. Five people total! Michael helping hold down the balloon after we landed. We landed in someone's front yard! We survived and it was really fun!!! Now Michael has to top this for next year hehehehe XOXO!

Height: More than 26.5 inches Weight: More than 15 lbs 6 ounces Favorite Activities : Screaming/growling, blowing raspberries, laughing/smiling, playing with his toys, grabbing for things, hanging out with mommy and daddy, watching the dogs play, rolling over, spiting up/drooling, eating, chewing on his fingers/bib. Sleep: he sleeps all night, but sometimes he gets up early, at like 4:30 a.m., but it's not often :) He takes a lot of naps during the day too! Eats: bananas, apples, peaches, pears, rice cereal, formula Clothing Size: mostly 6 months, but can still fit into his 3 months! Hair: light brown, bordering on dirty blonde. with a touch of red Teeth: No teeth to report yet.p Eye color: still brown! Monthly highlights: Rolling over! We can't keep him on his back anymore, he always rolls onto his belly! He started doing it one day, and just kept doing it over and over :) He also shakes toys now while he's holding them. We had visitors a few weeks ago and we stole some pix. Everyone has to take a picture with Mason! :) :) I couldn't decide which Sarah picture to put on the post, so I just put them all on here because they're all so good! :) Now we just need a picture of Mason and cousin Elizabeth then we'll have the whole Busse fam! :) :)

After Michael took some pictures of me and Mason on his first 4th of July, we were off to the fireworks with Grandma! Time for fireworks! Mason woke up for them and watched them in awe. He wasn't scared of them at all and he seemed to like them! The end! XOXO, The Buckleys
