Baby clothes for the first 6 weeks

According to BabyCenter, these are the clothes Mason will need for the first 6 weeks of life:
  • One-piece outfits (5 to 7)
  • Shirts (4 to 7)
  • Leggings or pull-on pants (5 to 7)
  • Sweater or jacket (1)
  • Pajamas or sleepers (4 to 7)
  • Wearable blankets (2 to 3)
  • Fleecewear or snowsuits
  • Socks & booties (lots and lots of these)
  • Hats (1 to 3)
So far we have:

Another great reference list from BabyCenter is Baby and mom gear for the first 6 weeks. I think the only items we've crossed off that list are a highchair and a crib. This is definitely a list to wait on until after the baby shower in January. Anyways, back to my daydreaming about little man. (i.e., Will you look like Mommy or Daddy or both? Will you have blue or brown eyes? Will you have blonde or brown hair?). Yeah, that's pretty much inside of my brain these days. :)

The very first thing that you should be concerned about is the comfort of the baby. You should make sure that the clothes that you are buying are made from cotton that is comfortable in the skin of the baby.
